...it was an IMPOSTER among the teams favored to be seeded #1 in the Big Dance. With them way out of the top 4 now, who would be the logical fourth #1 seed (at THIS point), assuming Baylor's loss only flips their poll position (as it damned well should) with us?  I'd be tempted to pick the Illini, but their loss at MSU (yesterday's Maryland victim) would mandate they win at our place tomorrow.

Many "experts" project us as the overall top seed, which would be nice, BUT---in the final analysis it's decided on the HARDWOOD, not on selection committee members' sheets of paper.

IMHO there are Gonzaga, Michigan and Baylor. Then all the rest. Honestly it's Michigan, then Gonzaga and Baylor, then everyone else.

Gonzaga would have 2-5 losses in the B1G.

Baylor has had a couple bad games winning one and losing one. We've had a coupple bad games and won one and lost one.

If anyone had tuned in to our game against Minnesota they would wonder why everyone was touting Michigan. So maybe Baylor is still that good.

What really turned me off about Baylor was their coach's (Scott Drew) comment after their bad loss at Kansas (where they are something like 1-for-their-last-17): "Every Superman has his kryptonite. Ours was COVID-19 layoff."

UHH----someone please ask coach Juwan to summon the man with the world's smallest VIOLIN...eh??????
