Are you ready? Excited?

Starting to listen to WTKA in the morning to get ready.

I only have one issue and maybe that is only in my head.

Every time I have huge hopes for the team I get disappointed. We always do the best when no one thinks we will.

Maybe that is my pessimism or maybe it is true just because my hopes are so high.

Well, they are high again this year. I want that trend to end.

I well recall the many seasons over the decades where Michigan appeared unprepared the first couple of games, then being something like N-1 or -2 going into November. Not much news on Michigan in the sadly declining Freep sports section. That paper has been a mess since USA Today took over.

Yeah, I never really read the FREEP because their writers sucked. Then came StretchGate where we were penalized because FREEP caught us stretching for too much time.

Now if there are any internet stories on the FREEP they all fall behind a paywall. Sorry if you do woody but I would not buy that paper to wipe my ass.

Anyway, I am going with the Al Davis school of football. Just win baby. I will start looking at the polls if/when Michigan loses. If we keep winning it does not matter.

I get it uber cheap digitally, and have read it almost every day since I was nine. Now, it’s just a habit.
