OT: Petersen leaving Boise St

For Washington.  I think the time is right for him to go.  He has turned down some bigger jobs in the past, but I think he has hit the ceiling at Boise, and he gets to stay in the Northwest.

I would say Washington came out better than USC on that deal.

We'll have to see. Sarkesian (sp) has a brilliant offensive mind. That doesn't always matriculate into head coaching but he was getting Washington back on track. They will be good and everyone will praise Peterson but Sark started it. They are up an coming IMHO.

Well, RR has a brilliant offensive mind too. Where did that get us? lol

I agree with what you're saying in a way, I just think for recruiting purposes, Petersen is more well known so he'll draw top recruits to Washington I  would guess, and besides, he's really proven himself on the national scene in CF. Sarkesian still has to prove himself as a HC at a big time program. That's why I made that comment, Joe........JMO.

The Pac 12 is assembling an impressive group of head coaches (and I include RR in that). I'm afraid with coaching and demographics they are more likely to consistently challenge the SEC than the Big 10 is.
