At this rate, the Michigan football team will have picked up yet another recruit by the time you've finished reading this story.
It's been that kind of weekend.
Four-star offensive lineman Logan Tuley-Tillman became the latest player to give a non-binding verbal commitment to the Wolverines for 2013, announcing his decision via Twitter Sunday evening. He is the eighth prospect to join the class since Saturday afternoon.
"Officialy a Wolverine & better yet a Michigan Man," Tuley-Tillman tweeted.
The unprecedented nature of this blast of commitments has been well-documented during the weekend, but a couple numbers deserve updating:
The Wolverines now have 11 commitments for 2013. They can take approximately 18 players in the class, which means they are more than half done with 11 months remaining until signing day.
The next-closest team in the Big Ten is Ohio State at four commitments. Michigan State, the Wolverines' biggest rival for in-state talent, has two.
Last year at this time, Michigan had no commitments.
Ten of Michigan's 11 commits are ranked among Rivals' Top 200. For comparison, Alabama's top-ranked 2012 class finished with 14.
Tuley-Tillman is the fourth offensive lineman to commit this weekend, matching Michigan's total from the entire 2012 cycle. The Wolverines certainly won't be feeling the effects of missing out on blue-chippers Jordan Diamond or Josh Garnett for long.
Michigan's offensive line class for 2012 finished No. 3 in the country, according to Rivals. This one is poised to finish even higher, and might even be able to do so if it were to stand pat.
Unlike his 2013 classmates, Tuley-Tillman projects as a pure tackle because of his rangy 6-foot-7, 280-pound build. Kyle Bosch, David Dawson and Chris Fox are more guard-types, based off their current measureables.
Tuley-Tillman had an impressive offer sheet, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State and Ohio State, among a host of others.
He is the third player in two days to pick Michigan over Ohio State. Detroit Catholic Central fullback/defensive lineman Wyatt Shallman and Fox also held an offer from the Buckeyes.
Scout's Allen Trieu said he expects Michigan to take at least one more offensive lineman.
